Black water rafting (Class 1-3) Life jacket and Helmet must be worn Insurance

So the first question must be: What is Black Water Rafting and why would you need Black Water Rafting insurance?

Black Water Rafting is very similar to white water rafting in that the equipment is very similar, the concept is the same and you still get an incredible rush. The main difference though is that you do it underground. If you consider the risks then it is clear why you might need to have black water rafting insurance. As with a lot of these sports you never know that you need the insurance until you are actually away because you don't know anything about them. It is far better therefore to be prepared in case you might want to do it. Black Water Rafting is widely available to do in New Zealand, Guatemala and parts of Africa so if you are going there then get your black water rafting insurance just in case. As with white water rafting a grading system is used to asses the difficulty of the routes and this insurance cover only allows you to ride upto and including level 4

Most of the injuries that may occur from black water rafting are knocks, cuts and bruises however because you are rafting in water there is an outside chance that something more serious could go wrong such as broken limbs, concussion and even drowning. You could also potentially contract water borne disease too. It is vitally important that on top of your black water rafting insurance you go with a reputable well organised company just to safe guard yourself even further.
