Rambling is incredibly popular across the British Isles as it allows you to go out and about into the countryside and fresh air, see new sights and also get fit and active all at the same time. The big difference here though is the altitude that you are at. Rather than just walking around on flat ground the higher altitude offers you more variety, better views across the countryside and also a more invigorating walk.
